Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Inset ("Service"), operated by Inset ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Inset is a web application that allows website owners to create, manage, and embed promotional content ("insets") on their websites. The Service provides a dashboard for managing insets and JavaScript embed code for displaying them.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Plans and Payment

  • Free Plan: Includes one inset with "Powered by Inset" branding.
  • Paid Plans: Remove branding and allow additional insets. Payment is processed via Stripe and billed according to the plan you select.

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or misleading content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Content and Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of content you create using the Service.
  • You grant us a license to host, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service.
  • We retain all rights to the Service, including its code, design, and branding.

6. Analytics and Data

The Service collects aggregated impression and click data for insets. This data is provided to you for informational purposes only and may not be 100% accurate.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost revenue, data loss, or service interruptions.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
